The amendedTrademark Law of the PRC has been implemented formally on May 1, 2014. After implementation of the Law, China Trademark Office has started to amend the form of trademark registration certificate in order to tackle with the issues for applying a trademark covering multiple classes and the original registration certificate no trademark counterfeiting as well as color different generating when printing color trademark. The summary of the amended content of the announced New Version Trademark Registration Certificate is as follows:

  1. The feature of anti-counterfeiting technology of New Version Trademark Registration Certificate

1 Adopting anti-counterfeiting water marked paper without fluorescence Watermark pattern is consisted of Industry and Commerce Red Shield emblem pattern and the words of “Trademark Registration Certificate”. Trade and Industry Red Shield emblem was designed as grayscale watermark, and the words “Trademark Registration certificate” as white text watermark located below the emblem pattern. The Watermark pattern consists of three groups, is a triangle distribution.
2 Adopting anti-counterfeiting pairing words under the national emblem of the Trademark Registration Certificate In natural light, the words “Trademark Registration certificate” is displayed in black color; under UV light, the word “trademark” is displayed in green color while the “Registration Certificate” is displayed in red color; under the infrared light, the words “trademark” will be hidden.
3 “Trademark Registration Certificate” has all buried below the safety line Under the reflected light, the buried safety line is invisible, the words “Made by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce People’s Republic of China Trademark Office “printed on the safety line is visible through observation in light. When we observed under the UV light, safety line will be turned in red and yellow those two color fluorescence effect.
4 The colorless fluorescent rainbow pattern printed with “The state administration for industry and commerce trademark office of the People’s Republic of China” at the left bottom of the certificate Under the natural light, the words will be colorless and invisible; under the UV light, the words are displayed with red and yellow color. The words is displayed in two lines : the first line is the words “People’s Republic of China” ; the second line is the words “the State Administration for Industry and Trademark Office system”, while the said two lines of text are aligned fore and aft.
5 Micro Lettering was printed inside the Blue border lines at the front and back of certificate The content of Micro Lettering is showed as “”and the “” is put in order.

 

Note: As for the attached sheet, there is no printed national emblem and the words “Trademark Registration Certificate”, but the other features of anti-counterfeiting technology will be consistence with the Trademark Registration Certificate.
